Diana Carlin Maglott Announces Launch of Carlin & Associates, LLC

DALLAS – February 6, 2007 – Diana Carlin Maglott today announced the launch of Carlin & Associates, LLC. Carlin & Associates, LLC will be a provider of medical transcription consulting services for hospitals and healthcare organizations in the US.

“Carlin & Associates has been created to provide much needed medical transcription consulting services to US-based healthcare organizations,” said President and CEO Diana Carlin Maglott. “As a former executive of a global medical transcription company, it became apparent there was a great need in the industry for consulting services that focus specifically on the production and delivery of medical transcription services.”

Due in part to the complexity and dynamic nature of the healthcare industry, hospitals and other healthcare organizations are under continued pressure to lower operating costs without sacrificing the quality of patient care. Medical transcription is a means of documenting the course of patients’ treatment by healthcare providers. The delivery of medical transcription services is performed by specially trained individuals who may be employees of the healthcare facility or an outside vendor.
